Frisco Debuts New, Integrated Document Management System; Video Streaming of Council Meetings, Programs Now Accessible Online

(January 6, 2009) In Frisco, the ‘missing link’ takes on new meaning with the evolution of the city’s new, integrated document management system.  Improved, easier access to Frisco City Council agendas, minutes and -- for the first time ever – online access to televised council meetings is now just a link away at FriscoTexas.gov.

Starting tonight at 6:30 p.m., citizens can watch council meetings in real time – or ‘live’ -- online.  Meeting minutes and the ‘indexed’, video taped version of the meeting will be published within 24 hours of the end of the ‘live’ meeting.    

Also for the first time, the city’s government access cable channel, Frisco Television Network (FTVN), is accessible online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. ….read more


2009 Daddy Daughter Dance Tickets on Sale January 10 

Ticket sales for the 2009 Daddy Daughter Dance will begin Saturday, January 10 at 8:00 a.m. for both residents and non-residents. This year’s “Enchanted Forest” dance will be held at the Frisco Conference Center located at 7600 John Q. Hammons Drive on February 7.  Dance tickets are $12 each (both Daddy and daughter need to purchase a ticket to get into the dance). Hawk Creek Drive and WalMart driveway closed at Eldorado Parkway

On Wednesday, January 7, two connections to of FM 423 will be closed for two weeks as part of TxDOT’s widening project.  and the eastern driveway for Wal-Mart will be closed at during this time.
