How do I know if my Invisible Fence receiver is not functioning?

Occasionally, batteries inside the receiver need to be replaced or the transmitter may be damaged or not receiving power. First, test that the transmitter has power then test the receiver. A good indication that your Invisible Fence isn't functioning properly is that there is no audible alarm when the receiver approaches the boundary of the fence or that your pet is going across the boundary with out receiving a correction.
